steel days

Carnival was kind of lame. I go for the corn dogs alone (and cotton candy) but they were crap this year. My cousin, She She and I stood around while we watched my nephew ride some rides with my mom and dad and his parents. That's always a blast for people who don't have kids. I didn't even get a good picture of a carni and I love me some dried out carni meat.

The parade was hot. I missed my old high school marching band which is all I usually go for so that worked out too. I didn't run in the 5k which I'm still kicking myself for. My mom and SIL did though. Good for them.

The car show cruise and the fireworks were the highlights. I was actually impressed with the fireworks show they put on.

And that all sounded really mind numbing and boring but it was fun to hang out with everyone. I think I missed having Tyrone there. He had to work all day.

    We missed Steel Days entirely this year and it makes me sad! We usually at least hit the fireworks.

    The carni was lame - there weren't a lot of freaks out that day:( I love the pics you took - they look really cool. And of course you took a pic of your favorite ride:) But next year I am making you pull me around in a wagon and squirting me with those water fans.

    Thanks She-She. Next time we make Hagen pull us around in a wagon and my mom can squirt us with a water fan. Hagen will def be big enough to pull us around by next year.
