I was so pleased to see these photos of Julia Roberts in the Fall issue of In Style. You can see evey detail on her face and I love it!

7 Things

1. This week my brain sure has been struggling. On Monday I parked in Tyrone's assigned parking spot and didn't even realize until he told me when he got home from work. It doesn't sound like a big deal but for me it is. I don't do things like that. At least it was his and not one of my neighbor's spots.

2. I went to work on Tuesday with two different shoes on and didn't realize until I had been there for hours.

3. Wednesday I was sick and the stress it caused just to call in was not worth the headache to stay home. I swear to God!!

4. Last Sunday we went to a farmers market with our friends and our dogs like a bunch of walking clichés, or at least that's how I felt. I did like being able to get fresh produce from local farmers but I'm not one to brag about doing so. Those who do are annoying. I don't want to come across like that.

5. I made a shit ton of enchiladas last week for a work function and ended up with a ton left over. Never. Fucking. Again.

6. Don't go to Costco with PMS cravings.

7. When he brings me every one of his babies to get my attention.

DIY Transition Outfit

Cutoffs and tanks are for Summer we all know but when the weather decides to play tricks on us during the time between the seasons it's nice to have something to wear, especially from Summer to Fall.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. It's a very easy, self-explanatory DIY that we've all seen but MINE IS BETTER [insert cheese grin here].

I love the western yoke on the front.
cut the sleeves off of a flannel using the length of your tee's sleeves as a guide

fray the edges buy pulling off a few of the loose strings
(we're going for a grunge look if you haven't caught on yet)

I LOVE cutting the necks out of tee shirts

DIY Swiss Cross Mirror

This is simple. Take an old mirror give it an upgrade by using a glass etch kit and follow the instructions on it using whatever design you would like.

I wanted a little mirror with a swiss cross on it for our bathroom. I found this perfect oval mirror for the job. I measured where the middle of the mirror was and taped around it in the shape of a cross. It's pretty cool to see how the etching works.

The pictures of the mirror really suck. I have no idea what the trick is to taking a good picture of a freaking mirror. Plus I didn't clean mine before and it drives me crazy that I can finger prints on it. It has a rugged personality now and I love it.

DIY Bath Bombs

I made these quite awhile back but I wanted to share my experience and am finally making myself sit down and do it.

I used a mix of two recipes that I found online. I read through the Rookie mag DIY and the Martha Stewart description and found a happy medium between the two. What I picked up from both that I found really important is that you do not want to put too much of the liquid ingredients into the dry too quickly or it will fizz away. You don't want all of the fizz to go away before you get a chance to stick them in the bath. I used most of the MS recipe but I didn't put sugar in mine instead I used sea salt. It's much better for your skin than soaking in a tub of sugar. I did use the corn starch because it helps keep them together better when you're taking them out of the molds.

I found my rubber molds at the Dollar Store and they worked great. I also recently found some skull rubber molds and I can't wait to use them to make black skull bath bombs.

I would suggest putting more essential oils in if you can without ruining the consistency. I used peppermint essential oil and used a small amount of coconut oil as well. My opinion is as long as you keep a damp sand like consistency then you can mix whatever you want into it.
