Inspiration
So this old bowling alley near our place has always caught my eye and when I was thinking of what I wanted to do for a new masthead or banner I thought the pink walls would be great for a photoshoot. The entire place, except the front, was painted pink. It is now painted an awful maroon color. Just after I took these shots they repainted the place. I was not happy about his. The sign out front is still really cool, I hope they don't decide to update it. Old looks so much better most of the time. I am in love with old signs. I imagine having a house some day with a large open living room and having an old neon store front sign leaning up against a wall. I'm talking HUGE. Now of course Tyrone and I got into a small bickering session during this trip because I was distracted by taking pics of everything besides what I had gone there to do.

Around Blogolopolous Town
I did another drive-by around Blogolopolous Town recently and this is what I found
Another smashed Wicked Witch - totally love this form of street art
And THIS found on the streets of Berlin is just flat out awesome. I could spend hours on this site.
This artist;s whimsical collages are magical
This revival radio is dope but way too pricey - come on Anthro lower your prices!
Avenger of Evil Deeds piece by Andrew Bannecker found via Creature Comforts
I am dying to try this Coconut Shrimp and Pineapple Salsa recipe
Love the inside of this felt sewing kit
Admittedly, this baby makes my ovaries ache and that's saying a lot
And finally, I am new to this blog and loving it - found via a beautiful mess
one last thing I can't take the repeat off of this song - someone stop me before I hate it

A drive-by happened in Blogolopolous Town
(I think I spell Blogolopolus different every time I type it - no care!)
I did a drive-by recently of a few of the million blogs I follow (and sites) and this is what I found.
This outfit post by Kendi Everyday touches my Betty Crocker spirit and is appropriately titled.
My perfectly proportioned, Barbie doll of a cousin Kendahl (Stepmom Extraordinaire) brought to my attention these wicked kicks. She has links to all of sources so go check them out. I can't stop daydreaming about these shoes.
Aaaand, this Vanilla Bean Bundt cake from Craving Cupcakes has made my keyboard short-circuit from the drool falling out of my mouth.

I love Anthro although I can't afford a damn thing in it's entire store even when something is on sale. It saddens me. It also saddens me that I don't get their catalogue in the mail anymore even though I've re-requested one at least three times. It's been over year. At least I can't see it online.
I am DYING over this tumblr called The Daily Frenchie. I want like seven of them. They're so squeeshy.
Having a hard time taking my eyes off of this piece by this artist found via notpaper.net
Last night was so much fun. My dad taught us how to hand tool leather. I am pretty giddy over this. I will post pics soon. I also got the most rad package in the mail yesterday that I have to share.

Remember the failed art journal? Well I decided to scrap it and go with a plain composition book. It's perfect and will do the job just fine.
I've been working on a few inspirational pages that I thought I would share with you. They sort of show the different sides of me and the things I love that I want to try and incorporate in what I do. I love playing with Polyvore but sometimes doing it the old fashioned way (cut & paste) needs to be done.
Sorry for the lack of real contact and/or wit. I'm still trying to get over this cold. I've just felt a bit off lately.
enjoy

At lunch the other day...
I found these...
Moare Inspirational posts and Fauxtography if you so desire.
I've been taking pictures with my Diana Mini here and there but I can't wait to use it more when the weather starts to warm up some more. I have major anxiety about finding the right place to have them developed though. I've done a lot of searching online and most people seem to complain about it next to doing it yourself but I will probably never try that myself.
