Jun Hunt

i was pretty happy to find this 1.5QT early american pyrex bowl recently

And this chair actually was NOT found on a Junk Hunt.

It's a hand me down in my family and it's staying with me till I die.

It's red velvet but really soft velvet. The legs are little scratched up; I've thought about repainting them but I really like the character it adds. The bottom definitely needs to be fixed though you can some of the batting hanging down. One day that will get done.

I'm hoping to post a Home Tour soon. It will be a mini tour though since we only live in 700 square feet.

i can't sleep

We made crab rangoons with edemame tonight. It was good. May post recipe soon.

Tandem: the past two night we have had the best dinners. Monday night we had steamed broccoli w/Parmesan cheese and hard boiled eggs - sounds bad but it wasn't. Last night we had grilled coconut crusted mahi mahi with sauteed asparagus and mushrooms with garlic and onions. I about cried it was so delicious. We got the mahi mahi from the farmer's market for under $4 a fillet. Yum!

 

I have two projects I need to post and a bunch of junk hunt finds but I am feeling rather lazy so I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. I have a list of blog ideas but have no idea when I'll get around to posting them. This weekend we might go to Sundance which I'm not particularly thrilled about. It's out of control up there and I am definitely one of those locals who hate it. That is unless someone wants to chauffeur me around and get me in to all of the happening parties with out having to wait then I'm all about it. It use to be cool back in the day and don't even get me started on how ridiculously priced the shows are. Anyways, today has sort of flown by which is fantabulous.
