Dinning Room Project and Some

So this idea just kind of flew out of my behind the other day (or a month or so ago) I knew two things, that I wanted to recycle some of the crafts and things I made from my wedding and that I wanted to update the hideous picture that once hung above our dinning table. Let me tell you about this picture. Back in the day when I was going for an “Italian” style in my kitchen I found this picture at the DI and thought it would fit in perfectly. That is until I found out that it in fact was NOT Italian but was French. Not the style I was going for. And then soon after I found that a few other pictures I had in my kitchen were ALL French. This just shows how much I know about different cultures. NOTHING! I’ve had my “Italian” style kitchen for a long time and since moving in to a smaller space I decided that I needed a Re-do, so I started with our dinning room. (When I say dinning room I mean dinning room slash craft room slash hallway.)

Let me know what you think. I’m pretty sure I’ll make a few adjustments here and there but this is pretty much the final project.

The last few weeks we have also been planning a baby shower for my brother and sister-in-law for this Saturday. I am way excited about it. It won’t be your average girlie get together. To go along with all of that I have been crocheting a blanket for my new nephew (they are having a boy) as well. I’m afraid it’s not going to be finished for Saturday. Hopefully it will be done before he arrives.

ALSO!! This is something I am super excited about. My brother and sister-in-law asked me to do a pregnancy photo shoot for them. I am so honored. I hope I can do a good job. I will definitely be posting about it soon unless it doesn’t turn out.

I'm very excited to see the pictures of Dill and Rachel. You'll be great, I know it. When are you doing them?

We did them on Sunday. I can't wait to post the pics but I need to make sure she is okay with it.
