DIY Halloween Costume Series - the Germaphobe

If you can't tell by this post I've pretty much lost my mind. I'm STILL freaking sick and hating every second of it. But being sick got me thinking and so I was born this idea. I also know some people, whom I love making fun of, are hug germaphobes or even clean freaks if you will.

Gather supplies:

Put it all together any way you want. I left my hair unkept and ratty so I looked a little crazy (and NO that didn't take much effort at all.)

DIY Feather Headdress Cuff

I've been meaning to post this one for awhile. It's a fun sort of wimsicle accesory for fall or really any time of year. Pretty much perfect for Thanksgiving if you want to fully embrace the spirit of the holiday. I think I'm going to make another one but with black leather and dark colored feathers, something a little more chic.

Have you seen my DIY where I turned an old man's leather jacket into a fringe purse? Or if you're interested in seeing costumes ideas you can check out my Halloween Costume Series. I have more to add soon!

My Birthday (last fri) in Pictures

I was going to do a photo an hour this day but then sh*t got cray-cray ;) My heart was full. Love my hubby and my mom. My dad met up with us later for dinner and we ended the evening watching This Is It. My dad is now a MJ convert. I could not be more proud. I have a funny story about that I will share later. I'm still nursing this damn cold although today is the first day I have been able to really nurse it. There are just too many things to do.

Tomorrow is my mom's birthday. I hope she gets all that she deserves and more.

Fridays with Frederick

Sunday we had a very small get together at my parent's house. While we were all laughing and chit-chatting in the kitchen I could hear that Frederick had jumped up on the screen door. He had been running around outside with the other dogs and wanted back in. His delicate puppy skin can't hack it outside for very long because he gets cold easily. Wuss. Anyways, I got up to let him in but just before I opened the screen door I noticed he was covered in crap. It didn't look like he had rolled in anything but more so sprayed. It honestly looked like either one of the other dogs, or goats, or chickens, or turkeys backed that thing up and squirted all over him. He accidently got in the house and started running through the kitchen. You cam imagine the excitement. I ran after him and grabbed him quickly so he wouldn't get it on anyone else and managed to get it all over my arm. It was so gross. Needless to say he got a hose bath right then and there in the cold and everything.

Dogs.
