Memories + Tape

I had to take a moment to think about this but I don't think I have done any scrapbooking for probably ten years. The last scrapbook I did I ended up ripping and burning so, yeah, there's that. But after finding some pretty rad vintage books especially the never before used green scrapbook (see more of it here) I had to take another swing at it. I promised myself I wouldn't get too crazy with it and I WOULD NOT LET MYSELF GET ANAL about having every page perfect. I may or may not have gotten carried away a time or two in the past. I also promised myself I wouldn't let this become a regular thing. I'm just not into scrapbooking anymore but I think most of that has to do with a lot social media things and especially this blog. I forgot how long it takes to do too. I thought because I was keeping this simple that I would be able to get it done in a few hours; wrong!!

Started with some cool vintage books.

Some bitchin' tapes, yes I just said bitchin'. It's pertinent to this project that you choose bitchin' tapes.

I had a box of memories that I was collecting and I have a ton of wedding pictures that I haven't done anything yet with.

A few of the completed pages. (it was hard not to take pics of all of the pages)

Tyrone asked me, "you're taking photos of photos?" Yes, jerk, I am sure as hell am.

The pink book is awesome I love it but it only holds 3x5 pictures and none of the pictures I have would fit. They're all 4x6. But they were perfect for other miscellaneous items like garbage pale kids and concert tickets. PLUS!!!!! It came with a bonus photo. I LOVE finding leftover pics from the other families that had the books before. It makes my world complete and I'm leaving these lovely ladies right where I found them. Check out that picture handing on the wall above them; classic.

Freaking awesome!!!

I do photo books of big things but don't do anything with the everyday pictures other than store them on Flickr. I really should.
