DIY: Bloody Garland & Bloody Bow Tie

Bloody Garland

Materials: white cotton fabric, red food coloring, twine & black tulle
1. Measure out equal lengths of both the twine & black tulle. The length is up to you, depending where you're going to hang it. I'm assuming you're all going to try this [wink].

2. Knot the twine & tulle together all of the way down both strips

3. Don't worry about making sure anything is even
4. Take your food coloring and start dripping it on the white fabric making sure to get some awesome splatter action. Twist the fabric and smear it around as much as you'd like.
5. Rip the fabric in strips
6. Tie the fabric strips to the knotted twine & tulle
7. Hang it up then you're done!

Bloody Bow Tie

1. Take some of your bloody white fabric and tie it around your own neck or around a headless baby. I chose a headless baby because that's how I roll. Tyrone is not thrilled about this addition to the Halloween mantle this year. He says it's way too creepy so naturally it's staying.
I found all of my doll heads at the thrift store. Savers always has a bunch of them every time I go.

This is what The Mantle looks like now from when I posted it a few days ago. I think I'm finally finished with it. I want to keep it up till after the new year.

It's too perfect NOT to keep up until the new year.
