I had a pair of purple feather earrings but I lost one of them at a concert. I didn't want to throw the other feather out so I decided to hook it to a piece of leather and tie it around my neck. I've seen necklaces like this around and thought it was the perfect opportunity to make my own. It was perfect because it was already set up with a hook on the end of it. I've seen feathers all ready to go like this at the craft stores too so if you don't have your own mismatch feather you can get your own.
materials:
feather w/a hook attached to it
two jump rings
long piece of leather
scissors
pliers to help with the jump rings
All I did was take two tiny jump rings to hang it from a piece of leather tied at the ends. You can cut the leather to any length you want.
Done!
I had a bit of a hippie look going on except that my shirt was this thrifted southwestern style tee from the 80's that my family kept asking me "what is that?" "why are you wearing that?" Tyrone kept asking me "what is that suppose to represent?" NOTHING except my foot up your ass!
family.
you would think they would know how I am by now.
{sidenote: When I go shopping with my mom she'll hold up something and say "this shirt is weird, you'll probably like it, it looks like you"}
Do you like my new 8-track? Haha! It made me laugh so I had to get it. It's one of the many things I picked up on Saturday at the thrift store. I took a bag full of stuff home for five bucks. It was perfect.

AAAAAAAAAAAAA! I freaking love Willie! ;P
Reminds me of my first car in high school - had a working 8-track player..but I had to shove a book of matches under the 8track so that it would play. That car got me mad play in high school...
That is so awesome, I can just picture it now. Growing up my parents had an 8-track player in our camper trailer and I would stay inside the trailer the whole time we camped listening to music instead of camping outside.
