We have grown increasingly fond of egg drop soup especially since we found out how easy it is to make.
Here is our spin on this classic recipe. The recipe on the card is a little different from what I list below.
4 C chicken or veggie broth
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1-2 minced green onions or 1 T of chives to substitute
3-4 drops of sesame oil (this is key)
1 tsp of ginger
1 clove of garlic, minced
Carrots, celery, & peas to garnish
Bring broth to a boil, add S&P, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic, cook for 1 min. Slowly pour in eggs in a steady stream, cook 1 min. Garnish with rest of veggies.
