late night mani

Now all I need to do is my toes but I'm way too "bloated" to bend over and try that shit.

The top pick is what my night stand looks like pretty much twenty four seven. My nails now match my bracelets. The little girl in me is thrilled with this.

Tonight I found out that a guy I went to high school with was beat up outside of the salon he works at in the town we grew up in. They beat him up while he was taking the trash out supposedly and was yelling gay slures at him during the beating. This is the second time in the last few weeks this has happenedthat in our state that has made the news. It better not be a growing trend. My heart is sad tonight and I just want to curl up with my pup next to my husband.

Tomorrow is Friday and this weekend is the state fair. I'm trying to stay positive.

People that are mean to other people just because they are different make me super irate. Makes me want to go all Chuck Norris.

I didn't realize it was already the state fair. Holy shit.

You know that my kid has a huge potty mouth, that's no secret. It's something that he keeps inside the house and around my friends, so Henry & I are pretty lax with him about that shit (and a million parents will disagree with this).

However, ANYTIME someone says "That's so gay" around him (and Henry's son Blake is always good for that), I flip my shit. I do NOT need him picking up slurs of any kind. I really believe that it's parents who can stop this shit from continuing, but unfortunately, ignorance is such a dirty, viscious cycle and I'm not sure it will ever die out. It hurts MY heart, too.

I'm so sorry that this happened to someone you know. :(
