One more thing

I woke up this morning singing Wheel In The Sky by Journey. But all I was doing was repeating "The Wheel in the Sky keeps on turning" OVER and OVER and OVER until it contagiously was stuck in Ty's head and he started singing it too. I love it when that happens. It makes me feel like some sort of super evil mastermind.

 

Friendly Fact: My mother doesn't even know this so she'll be surprised to read this unless she decided to stop reading after some of those tweets I posted. Anywhoo - Growing up I always pictured my biological dad looking like Steve Perry, the lead singer of Journey. And he kind of does a little bit. My mom always described my biological dad as a stoner with long brown hair and kind of short. That was pretty much it. So, every time I would see Steve Perry I thought, "I bet that's what my dad looks like". Minus the NOSE there is a bit of a resemblance. I got my dads LARGE chin instead. The first time I saw a picture of him that was the first thing I noticed. My eyes went straight to The Chin and so many questions were answered. I think I heard birds singing in the background. It was one of those moments. I did get his short legs too. (Why couldn't I have inherited my moms long legs?)

 

I bet you didn't know I was adopted? I'm one of the lucky ducks in life that get to have two dads. One dad and one sperm donor to be specific. And you can't forge the emotional damage that comes along with it.
