Awhile back I did a makeover on our dinning area. You can see the original post here. The nice girl inside of me thinks that you need to have a dinning area in your house and that it needs to be picture perfect. The bad girl side of me decided to throw that idea in the trash. I needed to be realistic. A dinning area in a one bedroom that is barely 700 sq. feet? I don't think so. If we were never home this might be fine. But during the week we LIVE in our place like normal people. We don't sit at the table and say grace before we eat our food. In fact we use that dinning table for all of our crap that we are too lazy to put away. I don't have time to put shit away. I work a full time job and have chosen to live my life.
Excuse me while I step down from my box full of soap.
Where was I? Woooosh! Tornadoes are wicked.
I took all of the crap off the table and have decided to keep it free of nice things because lets face it, it will be covered with random crap and/or craft supplies most of the time.
The wall is what I am liking right now. I needed a way to show off some new pieces anyways.

Pink "F" - stands for Fuck! Since that is the word I like to say the most. Okay, actually it stands for Franklin. That's our last name, just in case you didn't know.

I like it!! Especially the big pink F! I'm trying to remember the last time I ate a meal at my dining room table, but nothing is coming to me.
Have you just done away with the chairs, then? We don't even have chairs for the table at our apartment. But, since the house is for sale I've got a nice, pretty (uncovered) dining set.
The chairs are now in the closet and will only be brought during dinner parties when we need extra seating. Wait! I don't have dinner parties.
We live in a tiny little one bedroom condo, and don't even have a space to put a dining room table (of any size!)
My coffee table in the living room is the place that catches all of our crap, haha.
I love the makeover you did.
Our coffee table is constantly covered as well.
Thanks Angela!
