DIY Halloween Yarn Trees

Ok. So that title sounds ridiculously boring but I think these turned cute. Maybe a little too cutsie....or maybe not. You be the judge.

Materials:
One Styrofoam cone
Yarn (two or more colors, I chose black and orange)
Black felt
Hot glue
pins

Take one large styrofoam cone and wind black yarn all of the way up the cone hot glueing in various place all of the way up to the top of the cone. Once that is complete take your cone and make a circle by tracing the bottom of the cone to cut out a circle piece for the bottom of the cone.

Take your orange yarn and make pom-poms and pin them to the cone in various places. Wherever the hell you want them to go!

For the small cone I made it out of cardstock and did the same thing with the black yarn as I did with the larger cone. I then took the orange yarn and winded it up and down in  a sort of zij-zag fashion.

If this post didn't make any sense it's because I am writing it in bed after hiking 7 hours. I can barely move or think straight right now.
